Using the pre-built assignments
Pre-built assignments are expert-curated assignments that will satisfy the needs of most programs. ’Basic‘ level assignments cover the concepts of a typical first rotation, while the ‘intermediate’ level assignments cover concepts residents would learn in subsequent rotations up through their third year.
Simply assign each of the pre-built assignments to your residents “as is.”
Important: Follow these directions when the assignment has not yet been assigned. Click here to learn how to use a an assignment that has already been given to at lease one resident.
Begin from the Assignments tab
Navigate to the desired core discipline. For this example, we will use Basic Cardiac.
Notice it has not been assigned yet. See directions below for when an assignment has been assigned
View the lessons that are included in the lesson. If you are satisfied with the lessons skip to step 3. If not, click here to learn how you can customize your assignments.
Name your assignment.
Review the practice and test questions that are included in your lesson.
Choose your testing model. Click 'Help me select a testing model...' for more description of each model.
Click Assign Now.
Choose you assignment Date.
Select today or assign later to have RADprimer automatically issue your assignment on a selected date.
Select a date you assignment will be due. You can also choose No Due date.
Use the drop-down box to to locate your resident by year. Select all of your residents by clicking the top check box or select individual residents by selecting the check box next to their name.
Confirm your selected residents in the Assignees pane.
If you are satisfied with your assignment, click OK in the warning. if you want to add/remove lessons or change the testing model select cancel and click the x to return back to the Assignment tab to make your modifications.
View the list of all residents who have been given this assignment.
